Elon Musk's car company Tesla is one of the most popular automakers in the world. According to estimates, more Tesla Model Y vehicles were sold in the first quarter of 2023 than any other car on the planet.

For a potential buyer considering joining the ranks, know that Tesla has four main models available to purchase: the Tesla Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y.

All come equipped with Tesla's Autopilot feature as standard. For an extra fee, buyers can upgrade to enhanced Autopilot or Tesla's "full self-driving" capability. Tesla FSD and Autopilot have recently been scrutinized for its misleading name and hundreds of crashes, including at least 17 deaths in Teslas.

Some models come with unique features that help you tell them apart from the others. We've listed those Tesla features here, alongside comparing each model's price, availability, and range.
